Radio- on- demand Service on FM Transmitter

This is an interactive service, in which a listener places his request of Song through telephone for listening on AIR's FM channel. The request is automatically served through a computer, which plays the requested song at appropriate time for feeding to the FM Transmitter. The service is available from following stations: -

A listener can avail this facility by dialing the telephone numbers of the service and request for song of his choice by dialing code number for the song. The dialing method for placing the request is given below:

Dialing method for placing request:

1. Dial radio-on-demand service telephone number.

§ A message " Welcome to AIR RADIO-ON-DEMAND Service, please press Star (*) twice after the beep" will be heard.

2. After getting the beep sound, press star (*) switch twice.

§ A message " Please dial music number" will be heard.

3. Now dial the choice song number.

§ A message " Your cue number is (cue number), Thank you for dialing, Please wait for your turn " will be heard.

§ However if the dialed song number is not a valid one, a message " sorry this song does not exist, Thank you for dialing" will be heard.

Note :
i. The service can be accessed through a tone type or a pulse/tone convertible type telephone.

ii. Request for repeat transmission of a song within one hour is not entertained.

iii. The dialing sequence is to be completed within 30 seconds. Otherwise, the line will be automatically be discontinued with proper intimation.
